GBank Financial Holdings names Jeff Newgard as president and CEO

GBank Financial Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: GBFH) announced that Jeffrey K. Newgard will become president and chief executive officer of GBank, the company's wholly owned subsidiary, effective June 8, 2026. Edward M. Nigro will continue as executive chairman of GBank.

Newgard previously served as chairman, president and CEO of Bank of Idaho Holding Company and its subsidiary, Bank of Idaho. During his tenure from 2015 through 2025, he led the bank's growth from $250 million to $1.3 billion in assets. The bank was subsequently sold to Glacier Bancorp, Inc. in a transaction valued at approximately 17.3 times trailing 12-month earnings.

"Jeff Newgard's demonstrated knowledge in banking, capital markets, acquisitions, and creating shareholder value provides a strong foundation for GBank to expand its unique business model while ensuring the growth and the solid performance of GBank," said Nigro.

GBank Financial Holdings operates as a bank holding company headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada. The company provides national payment and Gaming FinTech services to gaming clients across the United States and operates as a national SBA lender in 40 states. Through its subsidiary GBank, the company operates two commercial branches in Las Vegas and serves customers in Nevada, California, Utah, and Arizona.
