Frontier Communications Corporation (Nasdaq: FTR) reports that Robert W. Starr has been appointed Senior Vice President and Treasurer, effective August 27, 2012. Starr will report to Donald R. Shassian, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
Most recently, Starr was Global Treasurer at Lazard Frères & Co. LLC, where he improved global cash management and risk management, managed all bank and rating agency relationships, and structured capital market transactions. Prior to this, he was Managing Director and Corporate Treasurer for the Ambac Financial Group, Inc. where be established a formal treasury function as the company transitioned into a major participant in public and structured finance.
