First Carolina Financial Services, Inc. (NYSE: FCBM) has appointed Pat Pritchard to the newly created role of Chief Retail Banking and Chief Information Officer, and Andrew Mathieson to the role of Chief Revenue and Strategy Officer, according to a company press release.

Pritchard previously served as Chief Information Officer of First Carolina Bank, while Mathieson held the title of Chief Revenue Officer. Both positions are described as expansions of their prior roles.

In his new role, Mathieson will assume leadership of the company's payments business, including the BM Technologies and BankMobile platforms, in addition to continuing to lead corporate financial planning and analysis, business intelligence, and adding procurement responsibilities. He will also have overall responsibility for corporate strategy and further integrating BM Technologies into the bank.

Pritchard will join Doug Ford, Chief Banking Officer, and Gregg Ferrell, Head of Real Estate Banking, as one of three direct revenue-driving leaders at the bank. His expanded role places new emphasis on the branch network, people, market, and revenue development.

"I am pleased to announce the appointments of Pat and Andrew to these newly created leadership positions, which we believe better align their titles with their focus going forward," said Ron Day, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer.

First Carolina Financial Services is headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina, and operates banking offices across North Carolina, Virginia, South Carolina, and Georgia.
