First Canadian Graphite names Scott Kelly as CFO
First Canadian Graphite Inc. (TSXV: FCI) (OTCQB: GRAPF) appointed Scott Kelly as chief financial officer, effective immediately, according to a company statement.
Kelly brings more than 20 years of experience as a senior financial executive in the resource sector across North and South America. He previously served as CFO of Marlin Gold Mining Ltd. and Mako Mining Corp., and as vice president of finance for Pediment Gold Corp. Kelly also held the CFO position at Ely Gold Royalties, which was later acquired by Gold Royalty Corp.
Kelly co-founded Dryden Gold Corp., where he continues to serve as director and CFO.
"Scott's proven track record in financial leadership, capital markets expertise, and successful project advancement makes him the ideal person to guide our financial strategy as we advance our graphite projects," said John LaGourgue, chief executive officer.
The company announced that concurrent with Kelly's appointment, President Mr. Yingling and Chief Financial Officer Mr. Jassal are no longer employed with the company. The management changes are intended to strengthen the company's executive leadership and governance structure.
First Canadian Graphite develops graphite projects and operates in the critical minerals sector.
