FLINT names Mark Nelson as chief operating officer

FLINT Corp. (TSX: FLNT) announced the appointment of Mark Nelson as chief operating officer, effective June 1, 2026. Nelson succeeds Neil Wotton, who retired from the role on May 19, 2026.
Nelson brings more than 20 years of experience in the energy and industrial sectors, most recently working at a major Canadian-based integrated energy company. "We conducted a competitive search for this role, and Mark stood out," said Barry Card, chief executive officer. "He is a proven operational leader with more than 20 years of experience in the energy and industrial sectors."
Wotton served in the chief operating officer role for ten years. "Neil has been instrumental in building the operational foundation that FLINT stands on today," Card said. "Over ten years, he led with passion and integrity, strengthened our safety and quality culture, and progressed our operational model."
FLINT provides construction, maintenance, turnaround, wear technology and environmental services to energy and industrial markets including oil and gas, petrochemical, mining, power, agriculture, forestry, infrastructure and water treatment sectors. The company has offices across Canada and reports having more than 100 years of operational history.
