EverLine, a Houston-based provider of technical services for critical infrastructure, has appointed Ed Wiegele as chief executive officer, according to a company press release.
Wiegele brings four decades of experience in energy infrastructure and operational technology. He most recently led project development for new energy ventures at The Williams Companies (NYSE: WMB), where he worked on power generation solutions for hyperscale data centers. Before that, he founded Integri-Tek, a geospatial consulting and data management firm that was later acquired by Magnolia River. He has also held senior roles at TRC Companies, Willbros, GE, MJ Harden Associates, and Panhandle Eastern/Trunkline Gas Company.
EverLine serves more than 300 critical infrastructure owners and operators across North America. In 2025, the company completed more than 16,000 PHMSA-related compliance inspections across more than 7,000 miles of regulated infrastructure. Its operations span five of the six U.S. reliability regions and cover 15,334 MW of generation and transmission assets. The company also operates a 24/7 cybersecurity unit that it says eliminates an estimated 8,760 internal staffing hours annually per customer.
"Critical infrastructure has become one of the defining operational challenges of our time," Wiegele said. "EverLine occupies a unique position at the intersection of compliance, operations, and cybersecurity, helping customers manage increasingly complex systems with greater confidence, resilience, and operational certainty."
Wiegele holds a bachelor of science in civil engineering from Iowa State University.
