Essential Properties names Robert Salisbury as new CFO

Essential Properties Realty Trust Inc. (NYSE: EPRT) announced the appointment of Robert W. Salisbury as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective January 1, 2026.



Salisbury, who holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, has served as Senior Vice President in the company's finance department since 2023, leading capital markets and investor relations functions. He will replace Mark E. Patten, who will resign from all roles at the company on December 31, 2025, to pursue other opportunities.



"Since joining the Company in 2023, Rob has helped lead our capital markets and investor relations functions, and he has been intimately involved in our strategy, finances and financial reporting," said Peter M. Mavoides, President and Chief Executive Officer, in the announcement.



Prior to joining Essential Properties, Salisbury worked as Senior Vice President and Director of Research at Almanac Realty Investors, the real estate private equity division of Neuberger Berman. He previously co-managed a real estate securities portfolio at Citadel Investment Group covering properties in the United States, Europe and Asia.



Salisbury also served as an investment analyst at V3 Capital Management and worked as an equity research analyst at UBS, Bank of America and Citigroup.



Essential Properties is an internally managed real estate investment trust that owns primarily single-tenant properties under long-term net leases. As of September 30, 2025, the company's portfolio included 2,266 freestanding net lease properties with a weighted average lease term of 14.4 years. The portfolio was 99.8% leased to tenants operating 645 different concepts across 48 states.
