Enovix Corporation (NASDAQ: ENVX) appointed Srikanth Kethu as Head of Enovix India, effective July 14, according to a company statement. Kethu will oversee the company's Hyderabad research and development center and support operations at Enovix's manufacturing facility in Malaysia.
Kethu brings 23 years of engineering experience from automotive and industrial companies including ZF, Mercedes-Benz, and BMW's R&D center in Germany. He previously worked as an external consultant and led engineering teams in offshore operations.
"As head of Enovix India, Srikanth will not only strengthen our world-class R&D center in Hyderabad but also support our efforts to industrialize at scale — including helping ensure the success of our new facility in Malaysia," said Dr. Raj Talluri, President and CEO of Enovix.
The Hyderabad R&D center focuses on battery technology development, including cell and pack design, manufacturing processes, and reliability testing. Under Kethu's leadership, the India team will expand its contributions to these areas while Enovix grows its regional presence.
Kethu stated he will work with teams across India and Southeast Asia to scale solutions and support the Malaysia factory operations. The company plans to leverage India's engineering talent pool to drive growth in the region.
Enovix develops lithium-ion battery technology with silicon-anode batteries designed for applications ranging from wearable electronics to electric vehicles. The company holds patents covering battery design, manufacturing processes, and system integration.
