Emerson (NYSE: EMR) has appointed Rudy Sengupta as Senior Vice President, Chief Technology and AI Officer, effective Aug. 15, 2026, the company said in a press release.
Sengupta, who previously served as Vice President and General Manager of Test and Analytics Software at Emerson Test & Measurement, will join Emerson's Office of the Chief Executive. He succeeds Peter Zornio, who will retire Dec. 31, 2026 after two decades with the company.

"Rudy has been a key player in the strong performance of our Test & Measurement business, and we're excited to continue to benefit from his deep expertise in his new role," said Lal Karsanbhai, President and Chief Executive Officer of Emerson.
"I am honored to take on this role and build on Emerson's strong foundation of innovation to enhance our global automation leadership," Sengupta said.
