Dynamic Aerospace Systems names Robin Hoops interim CFO

Dynamic Aerospace Systems (OTCQB: BRQL) appointed Robin Hoops as interim chief financial officer, the company announced January 22.

Hoops brings over 20 years of experience in accounting, finance, treasury, financial reporting, audit, and senior management across private and publicly traded companies in Canada and the United States. The company stated her appointment strengthens financial leadership as it scales operations and advances readiness for a potential NYSE uplisting.

"Robin's depth of experience in public company reporting, audit readiness, internal controls, and transaction support makes her an excellent fit for DAS at this stage of growth," the company's executive team said in a statement.

In her role, Hoops will oversee finance and accounting functions, including financial reporting, internal controls, treasury, budgeting and forecasting, audit coordination, and compliance with public company requirements. Her responsibilities include strengthening policies and procedures aligned with exchange listing standards and supporting capital markets and strategic initiatives.

Hoops holds a CPA-CA designation and has led public financial reporting functions for annual and quarterly filings, registration statements, and investor communications. She has experience with technical accounting for complex transactions including business combinations, equity compensation, leases, revenue recognition, and fair value measurements.

She previously worked with private equity firms and portfolio companies to convert accounting systems, implement internal controls, manage debt covenants, and execute first-year audits following acquisitions. Earlier in her career, she spent over six years in public accounting providing assurance services.
