Dynacor Group Inc. (TSX: DNG) has appointed Jonathan Hill as Chief Operating Officer, according to a press release from the Montreal-based ore processing company dated Oct. 1, 2026.

Hill brings more than 25 years of industrial and mining leadership experience, primarily in multi-site operations across North America. He most recently served as General Manager, Integrated Operations and Operational Excellence at ArcelorMittal Mines Canada, where he worked at Canada's largest open-pit iron ore complex. Previous roles included Mining Manager and Manager of Technical Services at the same company, Operations Manager at Detour Gold, and Mine Manager at Nordgold in Burkina Faso.

Daniel Misiano, President and CEO of Dynacor, said in the statement: "Jonathan brings the plant-building experience and operational discipline to lead our team into our next chapter of operational growth."

Hill succeeds Misiano, who was promoted to President and CEO in June 2026. The appointment coincides with what the company described as the commissioning of the first phase of its expansion strategy across South America and Africa.

Dynacor processes gold ore sourced from artisanal miners and operates the Veta Dorada plant in Peru. The company has been expanding into West Africa and Latin America.
