Dremio names Matt Quarfoot as chief revenue officer
Dremio appointed Matt Quarfoot as chief revenue officer, the company announced. Quarfoot brings over 20 years of enterprise sales leadership experience across cloud-native and data infrastructure companies.
Quarfoot succeeds Jeff McAllister, who is retiring after leading Dremio's global growth operations. The appointment follows Dremio's recent announcement of its next-generation cloud platform and what the company describes as the industry's first Agentic Lakehouse.
At Confluent, Quarfoot led the global acquisition organization across the Americas, Europe, and Asia, overseeing new-logo go-to-market strategy and execution. He also managed Confluent's global sales development representative organization and worked with marketing and product-led growth teams.
Before Confluent, Quarfoot held senior sales leadership positions at Datadog, New Relic, and Oracle, where he built enterprise teams and helped scale cloud consumption and data platform businesses.
"Matt brings deep experience in cloud, data infrastructure, and modern GTM execution," said Sendur Sellakumar, CEO of Dremio. "His leadership will help us expand our reach and support the momentum we're seeing across the Agentic Lakehouse."
Quarfoot said Dremio is positioned with an approach to AI-driven data workloads and open architecture. "I'm excited to join the company at a time when customers are rethinking their data platforms for the next decade," he stated.
The information is based on a company press release.
