Douglas Elliman names Chris Reyes as chief technology officer

Douglas Elliman Inc. (NYSE: DOUG) announced the appointment of Chris Reyes as chief technology officer of its real estate brokerage subsidiary. Reyes joins the company from Brown Harris Stevens, where he previously served as CTO.



In his new role, Reyes will oversee Douglas Elliman's technology team, infrastructure, product launch, and software development across all regions nationally. The company stated he brings more than two decades of experience in enterprise platforms and services in the real estate and financial services sectors.



"Chris is a proven technology leader with deep expertise in building scalable platforms that empower real estate professionals," said Michael S. Liebowitz, president and chief executive officer of Douglas Elliman. "His track record of implementing innovative solutions and his intimate understanding of the needs of agents and clients make him the ideal leader to drive our technology vision forward."



Before Brown Harris Stevens, Reyes served as chief technology officer at GuardHill Financial Corp. for seven years. He previously spent more than 15 years in technology roles within the residential real estate sector, including positions overseeing infrastructure implementations at Citi Habitats and The Corcoran Group.



Douglas Elliman operates as one of the largest residential brokerage companies in the United States with operations across multiple states including New York, Florida, California, Texas, and others. The company also invests in property technology solutions and provides development marketing, mortgage, and settlement services in select markets.
