Diversified names Pete Emminger as global chief technology officer
Diversified, an audiovisual, broadcast and digital experience integration company based in Plano, Texas, has appointed Pete Emminger as global chief technology officer, according to a press release from the company.
Emminger will lead Diversified's global go-to-market technology strategy and work across the company's business units to connect emerging technologies with client needs, shape technical direction, manage strategic partnerships and develop future solutions.
Emminger brings more than two decades of experience in technology strategy, product development and transformation across media, entertainment, live production and sports. He most recently served as global chief technology officer at NEP Group, where he led the evolution of the company's service and product offerings, including new software product development.
Earlier in his career, Emminger held senior leadership roles at Activision Blizzard, where he helped launch the Call of Duty League and establish an esports production studio. He also contributed to the 2022 FIFA World Cup's transition to IP-based broadcast technology.
Emminger has additionally advised technology providers, early-stage companies and financial institutions on product strategy, service models and commercial transformation.
"Media is reshaping how organizations communicate, collaborate and connect with people across nearly every environment we serve," said Paul Lidsky, CEO of Diversified. "Pete understands where this convergence is headed and knows how to turn technology strategy into reliable, scalable solutions."
