DigitalBridge hires two executives for data centers and energy transition

DigitalBridge Group, Inc. (NYSE: DBRG) announced the appointments of Brent Mayo as Managing Director, Investment Management focused on Data Centers, and Nicholas Beatty as Operating Partner focused on electrification and energy transition.

Mayo joins from Newmark, where he served as Head of Data Centers and led the firm's data center capital markets practice. During his career at Newmark and DH Capital, Mayo advised on more than $85 billion of transactions across data center and digital infrastructure sectors. At DigitalBridge, he will focus on originating, evaluating, and managing data center investment opportunities globally.

Beatty retired in October 2024 as a Founder Director of Zenobē Energy, a fleet electrification and grid-scale battery storage company. During his tenure at Zenobē from 2017 to 2024, he led financing activities, raising more than £1 billion in equity and over £1 billion in debt. Prior to Zenobē, Beatty spent 28 years in corporate finance at institutions including Hambros Bank and BNP Paribas.

At DigitalBridge, Beatty will advise on electrification, energy transition strategy and related infrastructure opportunities, including renewable energy, battery storage and transport-linked initiatives.

DigitalBridge is a global alternative asset manager focused on digital infrastructure investments, managing assets including cell towers, data centers, fiber, small cells, and edge infrastructure. The company is headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida.
