Diginex names Carole Zibi as chief marketing officer
Diginex Limited (NASDAQ: DGNX) appointed Carole Zibi as chief marketing officer, the London-based technology company announced Monday.
Zibi will oversee global brand strategy, growth marketing and communications as Diginex integrates its four operating entities into a single platform serving banks, asset managers and corporate clients worldwide. The company announced its unified business strategy on March 31.
Since November 2023, Zibi served as vice president of marketing at Plan A.Earth, a Diginex subsidiary acquired in January. She previously held marketing roles at major technology and entertainment companies including LinkedIn, where she spent a decade and opened the company's French office. She also worked at Disney, Yahoo, Vogue and served as vice president of marketing at impact startup Chance.co.
Zibi holds a joint master's degree in economics and finance from Sciences Po Paris and Paris Dauphine University, plus a certificate in Sustainable Business Strategy from Harvard Business School.
"Carole has built and scaled brands for some of the world's most recognizable companies, and brings modern marketing experience with a strong understanding of growth and stakeholder engagement," said Lubomila Jordanova, chief executive of Diginex.
Lorenzo Romano, vice chairman of Diginex, said the appointment "underlines the priority we place on how we communicate as Diginex moves forward as one company."
Diginex provides ESG, sustainability and compliance solutions using blockchain, artificial intelligence and data analysis technology. The company said it expects to provide updates on its unified business strategy during the second quarter.
