DXC Technology names Jonathan Nikols as president of Americas

DXC Technology (NYSE: DXC) has appointed Jonathan Nikols as President of the Americas Market, according to a company statement. Nikols will oversee sales across North America, Central America, and South America, reporting to Paul Taylor, President of DXC Technology.

Nikols brings more than 25 years of experience in technology sales leadership. Most recently, he served as Chief Revenue Officer at Mobile Communications America, where he was responsible for bookings across the company's public safety and enterprise customer portfolio. Before that, he held the role of Senior Vice President of Global Enterprise Sales at Verizon Business.

Taylor attributed the hire to the company's focus on sales execution and customer engagement. "His experience building large-scale technology sales organizations will help us improve execution, deepen customer relationships, strengthen pipeline management, and help customers put AI to work to deliver measurable business outcomes," Taylor said.

Nikols is a four-time Technology Services Industry Association Star Award winner and a member of the Forbes Business Development Council.

Rick Ruiz, who had been serving in an interim leadership role for the Americas, will continue as senior leader of DXC's U.S. Public Sector and Canada territories, reporting to Nikols.
