CrossAmerica Partners names Maura Topper as new president and CEO

CrossAmerica Partners LP (NYSE: CAPL) appointed Maura Topper as president and CEO of its general partner, effective March 2, 2026. Topper, who previously served as chief financial officer of CrossAmerica GP LLC, succeeds Charles Nifong in the role.
Nifong served as president and CEO since November 19, 2019, and will join the executive management team of Dunne Manning Holdings LLC, an affiliate of the general partner. During his tenure, Nifong oversaw the company's strategic pivot back into retail operations and completed several major transactions.
Topper has served as CFO of the general partner since August 11, 2021. Prior to that role, she was vice president and CFO of Dunne Manning from 2014 until her CFO appointment. She previously served on the Partnership's board from its 2012 initial public offering until October 2014, and again from November 2019 to present.
Jonathan E. Benfield, chief accounting officer of the Partnership's subsidiary entities, was appointed as interim chief financial officer of the general partner, effective March 2, 2026.
CrossAmerica Partners LP operates as a wholesale distributor of motor fuels, convenience store operator, and owner and lessor of real estate used in retail fuel distribution. The company distributes fuel to approximately 1,600 locations and owns or leases approximately 1,000 sites across 34 states, according to the press release.
