Credit Acceptance names new CMO, plans CTO hire amid leadership shift

Credit Acceptance Corporation (Nasdaq: CACC) announced several leadership changes, including the appointment of Siddharth Lal as Chief Marketing Officer, according to a press release issued July 27, 2026.
Lal previously spent more than 20 years at T-Mobile, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Commercial Management. In his new role, he will oversee the company's marketing organization and hold executive responsibility for product development.
The Southfield, Michigan-based auto financing company also said it plans to announce a new Chief Technology Officer in late August 2026.
In connection with the changes, Andrew Rostami, Chief Product and Marketing Officer, and Ravi Mohan, Chief Technology Officer, will step down effective August 14, 2026. Both are expected to support a transition of responsibilities over the following six months.
Separately, Kenneth Booth retired from the company's board of directors on July 21, 2026. Booth had served in various roles at Credit Acceptance for more than 20 years, including as Chief Executive Officer and President. Following his retirement, the board reduced its size from six to five directors, with no immediate plans to fill the vacancy.
Chief Executive Officer Vinayak Hegde said the leadership changes are intended to align the company's structure with its digital-first strategy.
