Cooper Standard names Matthew Boddy as chief commercial officer

Cooper Standard (NYSE: CPS) has appointed Matthew Boddy as senior vice president and chief commercial officer, according to a company press release dated Sept. 24, 2026.

Boddy will lead the company's global commercial organization across its sealing and fluid handling product lines, reporting directly to Jeffrey Edwards, chairman and CEO. He will also join Cooper Standard's Global Leadership Team and serve as an officer of the company, based at its headquarters in Northville, Mich.

Boddy previously served as vice president of business development for the company's fluid handling product line, where he oversaw global commercial strategy. Before joining Cooper Standard, he held roles at Nemak, Key Safety Systems, and Lear Corporation.

"Matt brings extensive commercial leadership experience and a proven ability to drive business growth," Edwards said. "His knowledge of our global customers combined with his strategic mindset and collaborative leadership style make him well suited to lead our global commercial organization."

Boddy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in management from what is now Kettering University and a Master of Arts degree in economics from Walsh College.
