Conifex Timber names Spencer Bell as CFO
Conifex Timber Inc. (TSX: CFF) has appointed Spencer Bell as Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary, effective October 1, 2026, according to a company statement.
Bell joined Conifex in 2021 and has held several roles within the company's finance organization, most recently as Corporate Finance Manager and previously as Operations Controller. The company credited his work as Corporate Finance Manager with helping secure a Large Enterprise Tariff Loan of up to $30 million and $19 million in Business Development Bank of Canada funding.

Bell succeeds Trevor Pruden, who served as CFO for approximately a decade. Shields acknowledged Pruden's tenure, stating: "I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to former CFO Trevor Pruden for his extraordinary decade of service to Conifex and for building the strong finance team we have in place today."
Conifex is a Vancouver-based timber company whose operations include harvesting, forest management, sawmilling, and lumber distribution. Its products are sold in the United States, Canada, and Japan. The company also operates a bioenergy power generation facility in Mackenzie, British Columbia.
