Concentra names new chief medical officer effective Jan. 2027

Concentra (NYSE: CON) announced that Jill Rosenthal, MD, MPH, will join the company Sept. 1 and assume the role of chief medical officer effective Jan. 1, 2027.
Dr. Rosenthal returns to Concentra, where she previously held physician leadership roles including area medical director. Most recently, she served as chief medical officer at Zenith Insurance Company for more than 16 years. She also currently serves as the 2026 president of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.
In her new role, Dr. Rosenthal will oversee Concentra's national clinical strategy, physician leadership, quality and patient safety initiatives, evidence-based care programs, and medical innovation.
She succeeds Dr. John Anderson, who announced his retirement effective Dec. 31, 2026, after 33 years with Concentra.
"Dr. Rosenthal brings an exceptional combination of national leadership, payer expertise, and deep knowledge of occupational medicine," said Matthew DiCanio, president and chief financial officer at Concentra.
Concentra operates 633 occupational health centers, 415 onsite health clinics, and a telemedicine service across 46 states and the District of Columbia, serving approximately 54,000 patients each business day as of June 30, 2026.
