Coherent CTO receives 2025 Dr. Lisa Su Woman of Innovation Award

Coherent Corp. (NYSE: COHR) announced that Dr. Julie Sheridan Eng, the company's Chief Technology Officer, received the 2025 Dr. Lisa Su Woman of Innovation Award from the Global Semiconductor Alliance.

The award recognizes industry professionals who have made contributions to drive development, innovation, growth, and opportunities for the semiconductor industry. The Global Semiconductor Alliance presents the honor annually.

"We are incredibly proud to see Dr. Julie Sheridan Eng recognized with the Dr. Lisa Su Woman of Innovation Award," said Jim Anderson, CEO of Coherent. "Her visionary thinking, strategic leadership, and unwavering commitment to innovation have not only transformed our organization but also inspired a new generation of leaders."

Jodi Shelton, Co-founder and CEO of GSA, stated that Dr. Eng "is a trailblazer in the industry and has advanced the landscape of electrical engineering through her work." The award presentation will take place at WISH 2025 on October 1, 2025 at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center.

Coherent operates as a photonics company serving datacenter, communications, and industrial markets. The company was founded in 1971 and operates in more than 20 countries.

The Global Semiconductor Alliance represents 300 corporate members, including more than 122 public companies. According to the organization, its members represent over 84% of the $662 billion semiconductor industry.
