Chevron announces four senior leadership changes effective 2027

Chevron Corporation (NYSE: CVX) announced four senior leadership changes, effective January 1, 2027, according to a company statement.
Mark Nelson, currently vice chairman and executive vice president of Oil, Products & Gas, will remain vice chairman but shift his focus to Strategy and Business Development. Eimear Bonner, currently chief financial officer, will move to president of Oil, Products & Gas.
Jeff Gustavson, currently president of New Energies, will become chief financial officer, taking on responsibility for audit, controller, investor relations, tax, treasury and business planning activities worldwide. Brent Gros, currently president of Offshore, will succeed Gustavson as president of New Energies, overseeing Chevron's lower carbon businesses, including hydrogen, power, carbon capture, offsets and biofuels, as well as the company's artificial intelligence strategy.
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Mike Wirth said in the statement: "Their experience, judgment and commitment to excellence will help position Chevron for continued success in an evolving energy landscape."
