Ceva names Ziv Hammer EVP of connectivity & sensing

Ceva, Inc. (NASDAQ: CEVA) has appointed Ziv Hammer as Executive Vice President of Connectivity & Sensing, a newly created role that brings the company's connectivity and sensing businesses and CTO Office under a single leader, according to a press release.

Hammer will report to Chief Executive Officer Amir Panush and will be based in Silicon Valley. He will oversee Ceva's Wireless IoT, Mobile Broadband, and Sensing & Audio Software businesses, as well as the CTO Office.

Hammer joins Ceva from GlobalFoundries, where he served as Senior Vice President of Design Platforms and Services. He previously held senior roles at Intel and Infineon Technologies, leading global engineering organizations of more than 1,000 employees across compute, connectivity, IoT, and semiconductor technologies.

"Ziv combines deep technical expertise with an exceptional track record of building world-class organizations and bringing complex semiconductor technologies from concept to market," said Panush.

"I'm excited to join Ceva at a time when the semiconductor industry is being reshaped by increasingly intelligent and connected devices," Hammer said.
