Cellebrite (NASDAQ: CLBT) announced David Barter has been appointed chief financial officer, effective immediately. Barter succeeds Dana Gerner, who served as CFO since 2014 and will remain in an advisory role until the company reports second-quarter 2025 financial results.
Barter brings more than three decades of public company financial leadership experience. He previously served as CFO at New Relic, where he helped drive the company's growth to nearly $1 billion in annual revenue and supported a $6.5 billion sale of the business. He also held CFO positions at C3.ai and Model N, and senior finance roles at Guidewire Software, Microsoft and General Electric.
As CFO, Barter will oversee financial operations including planning, accounting, reporting and treasury, as well as corporate development, investor relations and operations. He reports directly to CEO Thomas E. Hogan.
"For the past eleven years, Gerner led a high-caliber finance and operations organization and played a key role in building Cellebrite into a market-leading public company," Hogan stated in the press release.
Cellebrite will report second-quarter 2025 financial results on August 14, 2025, before market open. The company will host a conference call and webcast at 8:30 a.m. ET that morning to review quarterly results and introduce Barter.
The company provides digital investigation solutions for public and private sectors, with customers including law enforcement agencies, intelligence organizations and businesses worldwide.
