Canagold names Collen Middleton vice president permitting and compliance

Canagold Resources Ltd. (TSX: CCM) (OTCQB: CRCUF) (FSE: CANA) appointed Collen Middleton as Vice President Permitting and Compliance, the company announced October 15.



Middleton is a Registered Professional Biologist with over 20 years of experience in environmental consulting and regulatory permitting across western Canada. His work spans metals and coal mining, major infrastructure, and energy projects. He specializes in pre-development permitting and consultation, having supported both industry and Indigenous governments.



The appointment adds a second senior permitting officer to support Chris Pharness, Senior Vice President of Sustainability and Permitting, according to the press release.



"He brings a strong track record in navigating complex regulatory processes and a deep commitment to responsible resource development," said Catalin Kilofliski, CEO of Canagold. "We remain fully committed to advancing the New Polaris permitting process efficiently and through meaningful stakeholder engagement."



Middleton has a background in soil and water science, reclamation, and wetlands. He has presented his expertise at conferences and served four years on the Board of the Alberta Society of Professional Biologists.



Canagold is developing the New Polaris Project through feasibility, permitting, and production stages. The Vancouver-based company focuses on advancing mining projects and aims to expand its asset base by acquiring additional advanced projects.
