Camden National Bank promotes Josh Nash to chief technology officer

Camden National Bank announced the promotion of Josh Nash to Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, succeeding William "Bill" Martel, who retired from the bank.



In his new role, Nash will oversee enterprise technology strategy, including infrastructure, cybersecurity, business intelligence, data governance, and digital transformation. Nash previously served as Senior Vice President, Director of Technology, Business Intelligence, and Loan Operations, where he led cloud migration, automation, cybersecurity modernization, and data governance initiatives.



"Josh brings the rare combination of deep technical expertise, strategic judgment, and people-first leadership that today's banking environment requires," said Simon Griffiths, President and Chief Executive Officer of Camden National Bank.



Nash presented at Snowflake Summit 26, where he described Camden National Bank's approach to moving from AI pilot to production using Snowflake, Qlik, and Passerelle's Data Rocket. The bank reported a 250% year-over-year increase in analytic data product output.



Nash holds a master's degree in information systems and a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Maine, along with CISA, PMP, CEH, and CGEIT certifications. He has more than a decade of experience in financial services technology.
