Boba Mint appoints Andrew Shore as CEO, Rody Lazar resigns
Boba Mint Holdings Ltd. (CSE: TNJ) (OTCQB: WERDF) announced Andrew Shore has been appointed as chief executive officer and director, replacing Rody Lazar who resigned from the CEO position.
Shore is a Toronto-based technology entrepreneur with experience in gaming, blockchain, and consumer digital products. He co-founded Drafters.com, which was acquired by SuperDraft, and founded Amino and Moon Poker. Shore entered the blockchain sector in 2020.
"I'm excited to step into the role of Chief Executive Officer at Boba Mint at a pivotal moment in the Company's evolution," Shore said. "We are expanding beyond a single blockchain game into a broader platform focused on building innovative consumer apps."
Lazar, the outgoing CEO, said he is confident in the company's future under Shore's leadership. "Andrew brings strong leadership, clear vision, and a proven track record of execution," Lazar stated.
The company also announced that directors Michael Kron and Allen Spektor have resigned. Boba Mint expects to welcome Paul Johnson and Mitchell Greenspoon to the board at the next shareholder meeting, which will be called shortly.
Johnson is described as an executive with experience growing mobile and digital companies, while Greenspoon has capital markets and advisory experience focused on technology sector companies.
Boba Mint Holdings develops and invests in consumer apps and blockchain projects through its subsidiary WERD Studios, according to the company's statement.
