Beach Cities Commercial Bank names Stephanie Bitters specialty lending head
Beach Cities Commercial Bank (OTCQB: BCCB) appointed Stephanie Bitters as Senior Vice President, Specialty Lending Manager, effective March 2, 2026, according to a company statement.
Bitters brings over 40 years of experience in SBA lending and credit administration to the Irvine, California-based community bank. She most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer at VelocitySBA, where she directed SBA lending operations and provided oversight of loan support, credit analysis, and servicing.
Prior to VelocitySBA, Bitters worked as SBA Audit Project Manager with Williams Adley, collaborating directly with the SBA's Office of Credit Risk Management. She previously held the position of Executive Vice President and Director of SBA Lending at Umpqua Bank, where she led operational and credit functions for the bank's $1 billion SBA portfolio.
In her new role, Bitters will lead Beach Cities Commercial Bank's specialty lending initiatives and support the growth of the bank's SBA lending platform. Matt Blackmer, Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer, stated that Bitters brings expertise in SBA and government lending to the lending team.
Beach Cities Commercial Bank provides commercial banking services throughout Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, and Riverside Counties. The bank offers business banking products including commercial loans, equipment financing, commercial real estate financing, SBA loans, and treasury management services.
The bank operates from its headquarters in Irvine with additional branch offices in Irvine and Encinitas, California.
