BAE Systems names Michael Loeffler as VP of supply chain
BAE Systems, Inc. has appointed Michael Loeffler as vice president of supply chain, effective Aug. 24, 2026, according to a company statement.
Loeffler will report to BAE Systems, Inc. President and CEO Tom Arseneault and will join the company's senior leadership team. He will oversee supply chain strategy, execution, and program delivery across the organization's businesses.
Loeffler succeeds Brad Pelachyk, who has moved to BAE Systems plc as senior vice president and chief global supply chain officer.
Loeffler most recently served as vice president of global supply chain and logistics at Bell. Before that, he held supply chain roles at L3Harris, GE Aviation, and Boeing. He also served as a submariner in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Kentucky and later as a staff instructor at the Navy Nuclear Power Training Command.
He holds a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy, an MBA from The Citadel, and a master's degree in engineering management from Old Dominion University.
