B&G Foods, Inc. (NYSE: BGS) announced that Kenneth C. "Casey" Keller, President and Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors, will retire effective August 7, 2026, after five years in the role.
The company's board has already selected a successor, who has accepted the offer. The incoming CEO currently holds a senior leadership position at another public company. At the successor's request, B&G Foods has not disclosed his identity, saying it expects to announce the appointment shortly, in coordination with the reporting requirements of his current employer.
Keller said he is "proud" of the company's accomplishments and noted recent portfolio changes through divestitures and acquisitions. Stephen C. Sherrill, Chair of the Board, credited Keller with helping navigate post-COVID supply chain disruptions, price inflation, and tariffs.
Keller will assist with the leadership transition on an ongoing basis following his retirement date, according to the company's statement.
