Athena Gold names Farid Mammadov as VP of investor relations

Athena Gold Corporation (CSE: ATHA) (OTCQB: AHNRF) has appointed Farid Mammadov as Vice President, Investor Relations, effective immediately, according to a press release from the Toronto-based mineral exploration company.

Mammadov holds the Certified Professional Investor Relations (CPIR) designation from the Canadian Investor Relations Institute and a B.A. in Business Law with a minor in Economics from Carleton University. He previously served as Vice President, Investor Relations at New Age Metals Inc. and has more than five years of experience in the junior mining sector.

Koby Kushner, CEO of Athena Gold, said in a statement: "Investor relations is an area that deserves more focus given the important catalysts we've been working towards over the last several months, and I look forward to working with Farid to better communicate these milestones to shareholders in due course."
