Aquestive Therapeutics promotes Korczynski to chief commercial officer

Aquestive Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ: AQST) announced the promotion of Sherry Korczynski from Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing to Chief Commercial Officer, effective July 22, 2025.

Korczynski joined the pharmaceutical company in February 2024 to lead sales and marketing initiatives. She brings more than two decades of commercial and launch experience from leadership roles at ANI Pharmaceuticals, Eagle Pharmaceuticals, Mylan (now Viatris), and Eli Lilly & Company.

The executive previously led marketing, public relations, and patient advocacy efforts for EpiPen at Mylan. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from West Virginia University.

"Sherry's promotion reflects her exceptional track record in commercial leadership within the allergy market," said Daniel Barber, President and Chief Executive Officer of Aquestive. "Her proven expertise makes her uniquely qualified to drive our global commercial strategy for Anaphylm."

Anaphylm is Aquestive's epinephrine sublingual film product candidate for treating severe allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis. The company describes it as a polymer matrix-based epinephrine prodrug that dissolves on contact without requiring water or swallowing.

The FDA has conditionally approved the Anaphylm trade name for AQST-109, with final approval contingent on product approval. Aquestive is also developing AQST-108, an epinephrine prodrug topical gel for dermatology conditions including alopecia areata.

The Warren, New Jersey-based company has four commercialized products marketed by licensees in the U.S. and internationally, according to the press release announcement.
