Appian names David Crozier as chief marketing officer

Appian (NASDAQ: APPN) announced the appointment of David Crozier as Chief Marketing Officer, effective July 21, 2025. Crozier will report to CEO Matt Calkins, according to a company statement.

Crozier brings more than 20 years of marketing experience to the software company. He previously served as Vice President of Marketing at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where he led global marketing for HPE Services and most recently for HPE GreenLake, the company's cloud and AI solutions portfolio.

Before joining HPE, Crozier held marketing leadership positions at IBM across enterprise software, financial services and industry solutions. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from the University of Stirling and an MBA from Henley Business School.

Appian develops software platforms designed to help organizations manage business processes. The McLean, Virginia-based company serves clients across various industries.
