Appia Rare Earths & Uranium Corp. (CSE: API) (OTCQB: APAAF) has appointed Kurt Radtke as president, effective September 1, 2026, according to a company statement.

Radtke brings more than 20 years of senior mining and operational leadership experience across North America, South America, Africa, the Middle East, Asia-Pacific and Europe, as well as a prior career in the United States Army.

Before joining Appia, Radtke served as Vice President of Field Operations & Logistics, Exploration and Resource Development at Maaden, a large integrated mining company based in Saudi Arabia, where he oversaw large-scale mineral exploration activities across the country.

The company is currently advancing rare earth element and uranium projects in Saskatchewan, Canada, and holds a 25% interest in Ultra Rare Earth Inc., which controls projects totaling 42,932 hectares in the state of Goiás, Brazil.

Drivas said Radtke's background in exploration and drilling operations would support the company's existing projects and evaluation of future growth opportunities.
