Ampco-Pittsburgh Corporation (NYSE: AP) announced that its board of directors elected David G. Anderson as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Assistant Secretary, effective January 1, 2026.
Anderson will succeed Michael G. McAuley, who will transition to Strategic Advisor to the CEO until his planned retirement on June 30, 2026. Anderson will retain his current position as President of Air & Liquid Systems Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ampco-Pittsburgh.
The company stated that compensation terms for both executives related to this transition will be disclosed once finalized and approved.
Anderson joined Ampco-Pittsburgh in 2010 and brings over 35 years of experience in finance and operations leadership. He previously served as Vice President of Finance for both of the company's operating segments before advancing to lead Air & Liquid Systems.
"Our succession planning process prepared us for this transition, and I'm pleased to expand Dave Anderson's role," said Brett McBrayer, Chief Executive Officer. "Dave has been Vice President of Finance for both of our operating segments prior to advancing to his current role leading Air & Liquid Systems, so he is well prepared to guide our overall financial operations."
McAuley has served as Ampco's CFO for nearly ten years. McBrayer noted that McAuley "has worked tirelessly as a financial steward in support of the Corporation's strategic plans, including right-sizing of capacity, retooling and financing our most critical initiatives."
Ampco-Pittsburgh manufactures specialty metal products and customized equipment for global industrial customers through its operating subsidiary, Union Electric Steel Corporation.
