Adamas Energy names ex-Pioneer Natural Resources exec as CFO
Adamas Energy LLC has appointed Chris Washburn as Chief Financial Officer, succeeding Don McClure, who retired on June 9, 2026, after nearly 11 years with the Dallas-based company.
Washburn previously served as Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer at Pioneer Natural Resources, where he held progressively senior roles over a 20-year tenure. In that position, he oversaw the company's accounting function and was involved in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets activity, and technology systems implementation.
Before joining Adamas, Washburn worked at Embark, a financial consulting and advisory firm, where he led its Energy and Infrastructure Practice. He holds bachelor's and master's degrees in accounting from West Texas A&M University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Gordon Huddleston, President and Chief Executive Officer of Adamas, said Washburn "brings exceptional financial expertise that complements our disciplined approach to decision-making and risk management."
McClure will remain in an interim advisory role to support the transition. Adamas Energy is an independent upstream and midstream operator with operations in Louisiana, Texas, and Wyoming, and holds a natural gas position in the Haynesville Shale.
