Abacus Global Management names new executives to key roles

Abacus Global Management Inc. (NYSE: ABX) announced several leadership appointments effective April 17, according to a company statement.

Alexei Solomon has been appointed Chief Accounting Officer and Treasurer. Solomon, a certified public accountant, previously served as the company's Director of SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting and has worked at Verizon and Vistana Signature Experiences.

Elena Plesco was named Chief Investment Officer. Plesco previously served as the company's Chief Capital Officer and has experience at KKR, where she worked as Co-Head of Specialty Finance, and J.P. Morgan's investment banking division.

Samantha Butcher will continue as President of Abacus Life Solutions, a role she has held while working at the company for over 20 years. Bill McCauley will continue serving as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer.

"These appointments reflect the caliber of the team we have built at Abacus," said Jay Jackson, Chief Executive Officer, in the statement.

The Orlando-based company operates in alternative asset management and provides financial services focused on longevity-based assets and institutional services.
