AT&T (NYSE: T) today named key executives to further position the company at the forefront of the industry’s biggest growth opportunities.

- John Stankey, named to the newly created position of Group President & Chief Strategy Officer. Stankey, who has led nearly every major AT&T business unit during his 27-year career, will be responsible for developing the roadmap to maximize future growth opportunities, including corporate development, addressing long-term wireless-capacity needs, capital allocation strategies and identifying the best strategic paths for low-growth and non-strategic assets.
- Ralph de la Vega, named President and CEO of AT&T Mobility. de la Vega continues to lead AT&T’s largest growth engine. He will focus on expanding the company’s industry leading smartphone position – a key growth platform to meet increasing customer demand for everything mobile.
- Andy Geisse, named Senior Executive Vice President-AT&T Business and Home Solutions. Geisse, an executive with 32-years of experience in AT&T’s business and consumer segments, will be responsible for serving the business segment – from global enterprise customers to small businesses. Additionally, Geisse will lead the Home Solutions team focused on U-verse®, broadband and voice services for AT&T’s 22-state local wireline operations.
- John Donovan, named Senior Executive Vice President-AT&T Technology and Network Operations. Donovan, a recognized leader in the technology industry, will be responsible for AT&T’s technology and network operations, including the nation’s fastest mobile broadband network.
