AGI names Haaris Uddin as chief financial officer

Ag Growth International Inc. (TSX: AFN) has appointed Haaris Uddin as Chief Financial Officer, effective August 4, 2026, according to a press release from the Winnipeg, Manitoba-based company.



Uddin will report directly to Paul Brisebois, AGI's President and CEO. Interim CFO Nicolle Parker will continue in the role until the effective date to support the transition.



Uddin has served as CFO of Medicure Inc., a TSX- and Nasdaq-listed pharmaceutical company operating in Canada and the United States, since 2022. Before that, he was CFO of Waverley Pharma Inc., a TSX Venture Exchange-listed company with operations in Canada, the United Kingdom, and the European Union. He began his career as an auditor at Ernst & Young and holds a Chartered Professional Accountant designation. He earned an MBA from the University of British Columbia and a commerce degree from the University of Manitoba.



"Haaris brings strong public-company finance leadership, international operating experience, and a disciplined approach to financial management," Brisebois said in the statement.



AGI manufactures equipment for the storage, handling, transport, and processing of food, with facilities in Canada, the United States, Brazil, India, France, and Italy.
