AEVEX names Chelsey Thomas as VP of government affairs

AEVEX Corp. (NYSE: AVEX) has appointed Chelsey Thomas as Vice President of Government Affairs, according to a company statement.

Thomas brings more than 25 years of experience in national security, federal policy, and congressional engagement. She most recently served as Vice President of Government Relations at Booz Allen Hamilton, where she led advocacy across the legislative and executive branches and acted as the firm's primary liaison to Congress, the White House, and senior federal officials.

Before joining Booz Allen Hamilton, Thomas spent more than a decade as a Professional Staff Member on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, where she advised the Committee Chairman on CIA and covert-action oversight. Her work included budget reviews for multibillion-dollar intelligence programs, legislative drafting, and international engagements across the Middle East, Africa, South America, and Southeast Asia.

In her new role, Thomas will lead AEVEX's government engagement strategy at federal and local levels and manage relationships across Capitol Hill and government associations.

Thomas holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Virginia Tech.
