6K Additive, Inc. (ASX: 6KA) announced the appointment of Brandon Davis as Chief Operating Officer, effective May 5, 2026. Davis will oversee the company's global operations, including metal powder production and alloy additions across facilities in Pennsylvania, California, Missouri and West Virginia.

The company, based in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania, manufactures metal powders for additive manufacturing and alloy additions for the aluminum industry. Davis will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Frank Roberts.

Davis joins 6K Additive from Dexter Axle Corporation, where he served as Vice President of the Components Division with responsibility for a $500 million operation. During his tenure there, he reduced the Total Case Incident Rate from 2.0 to 0.13 and increased EBITDA by more than 20 percent, according to the company statement.

His previous experience includes serving as President and CEO of EVRAZ Stratcor and leadership roles at National Oilwell Varco. Davis is a United States Army veteran who served as a Military Police officer and received the Army Commendation Medal.

"Brandon is a world-class leader with a proven track record of bridging the gap between high-level strategy and factory-floor execution," Roberts said in the announcement. "As we continue to expand our capabilities and capacity for defense and commercial applications, Brandon's expertise in safety and operational excellence will be invaluable to our growth."

Davis said his focus will be on streamlining manufacturing operations while advancing automation to meet demand from aerospace, defense, medical and energy sectors.

The company uses proprietary UniMelt microwave plasma technology to produce metal powders including nickel, titanium, copper and refractory materials. 6K Additive sources feedstock from certified turnings, millings and recycled additive manufacturing materials.
