3D Systems (NYSE: DDD) announced that Dr. Jeffrey Graves will step down as President and Chief Executive Officer and retire from the Board of Directors, according to a company press release issued Aug. 4, 2026.

Dr. Graves will remain in his role until a successor is appointed, which the company expects to occur later in 2026. Following the appointment, he will serve in a consulting capacity for six months to assist with the transition.

Board Chairman Chip McClure commented on the transition: "Over the past several years, the Company has made meaningful progress in strengthening its operating foundation, sharpening its strategic focus, and positioning the business for long-term profitability and growth."

The CEO transition announcement was made alongside the company's release of its second quarter 2026 financial results.
