Asia Broadband drops civil suit without prejudice to reassess strategy

August 19, 2026 9:01 AM EDT

Asia Broadband Inc. (OTC: AABB) has filed a voluntary notice of dismissal without prejudice in its civil action in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, according to a company statement.

The company said the procedural step allows its legal counsel to complete an evaluation of additional trading data gathered during the initial pleading phase and determine the appropriate scope of future legal action. A dismissal without prejudice preserves the company's right to refile or initiate related proceedings.

"The voluntary dismissal without prejudice allows our legal team to re-evaluate the matter and optimize our overall legal strategy," said Chris Torres, President and CEO of AABB. "We remain committed to protecting shareholder value and evaluating all available legal and regulatory avenues."

The company also noted it continues to pursue its operational strategy, including expanding precious metals production and facilities in Mexico and advancing its digital asset business.
