White House says Trump supports Lutnick amid Epstein scandal

Investing.com -- The White House affirmed President Donald Trump's support for Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick on Tuesday, following new revelations about connections between the Cabinet official and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

"Secretary Lutnick remains a very important member of President Trump's team," White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt stated during a regular press briefing.
