Investing.com -- Vietnam-based electric vehicle maker VinFast aims to deliver 300,000 electric vehicles globally in 2026, the company announced Monday.
This ambitious target represents a significant increase from the nearly 197,000 vehicles delivered in 2025, indicating the automaker's confidence in its expansion strategy.
VinFast is focusing on meeting growing EV demand in markets such as India, Indonesia and the Philippines. The company also expects its two-wheeler deliveries to reach at least 2.5 times its 2025 figure of 406,498 units.
Despite its push into Asian markets, VinFast has struggled to gain traction in North America and other international regions, where it faces strong competition and sluggish consumer demand.
The company plans to release its fourth-quarter and full-year financial results before the market opens on March 16.
