Investing.com -- Bending Spoons, the Milan-based digital applications company that owns Vimeo, Evernote and AOL, filed for an initial public offering on Monday with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

The shares are expected to trade on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the symbol BSP. Goldman Sachs Group Inc., JPMorgan Chase & Co., and Allen & Co. are leading the offering.

The app developer reported net income of $27.5 million on revenue of $601 million for the first three months of 2026, according to the filing. This compares to a net loss of $112 million on revenue of $259 million during the same period a year earlier.

Bending Spoons grew monthly active users to 500 million in March from 111 million in December 2023. Monthly paying customers increased to nine million from three million over the same period.

The company was valued at about $14.5 billion in 2025 after a funding round that included $270 million in primary capital, $440 million in secondary capital and a $2.8 billion debt package, according to PitchBook data.

Founded in 2013, Bending Spoons operates by acquiring and revamping established digital firms. The company's portfolio includes file-sharing service WeTransfer, note-taking app Evernote, video platform Vimeo, AI photo enhancer Remini, data transfer service WeTransfer, local groups finder Meetup, and events marketplace Eventbrite.

A substantial portion of the company's revenue comes from recurring subscriptions. The company takes its name from the concept of bending spoons with the mind as shown in the 1990s film The Matrix.
