UiPath shares climb as Q3 results beat expectations

Investing.com -- UiPath Inc (NYSE: PATH) reported third-quarter fiscal 2026 results that exceeded analyst expectations, sending shares soaring around 10% in after-hours trading on Wednesday.


The agentic automation company posted adjusted earnings per share of $0.16, beating the analyst estimate of $0.15, while revenue jumped 16% YoY to $411.1 million, significantly above the consensus estimate of $392 million. Annual recurring revenue (ARR) grew 11% YoY to $1.78 billion, with net new ARR of $59 million for the quarter.


UiPath’s shares surged in extended trading as investors responded positively to the earnings beat and solid guidance. For the fourth quarter, the company expects revenue between $462 million and $467 million, with the midpoint of $464.5 million slightly above the analyst consensus of $463.3 million.


"I am pleased with our third quarter results delivering ARR of $1.782 billion, up 11 percent year-over-year, a testament to the team’s focus, consistent execution, and the momentum we’re seeing as customers scale agentic automation across the enterprise," said Daniel Dines, UiPath Founder and Chief Executive Officer.


The company achieved its first GAAP profitable third quarter with operating income of $13 million. On a non-GAAP basis, operating income reached $88 million, while maintaining a strong balance sheet with $1.52 billion in cash, cash equivalents, and marketable securities.


UiPath has been expanding its platform capabilities, announcing new integrations with Microsoft Azure AI Foundry, OpenAI, Google’s Gemini models, and NVIDIA. The company was also recognized as a Leader in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Intelligent Document Processing and AI-Augmented Software Testing Tools.


The company’s dollar-based net retention rate stood at 107%, indicating continued success in expanding relationships with existing customers.
