UPS beats Q2 estimates, raises full-year outlook

Investing.com -- United Parcel Service Inc. (NYSE: UPS) reported its second-quarter earnings before the open on Tuesday, sending its shares around 1.8% higher premarket.


Adjusted earnings per share came in at $1.76, beating the analyst estimate of $1.66, as the company posted consolidated revenue of $22.8 billion versus the consensus estimate of $21.84 billion.



Revenue increased 7.7% YoY from $21.2 billion in the second quarter of 2025. The company raised its full-year 2026 adjusted EPS guidance to approximately $7.22, compared to the analyst consensus of $7.13, and increased its revenue outlook to approximately $91.2 billion versus the consensus of $90.38 billion.


"I want to thank all UPSers for their extraordinary work over the past 18 months as we successfully completed our Amazon glide down and related network reconfiguration initiatives as designed," said Carol Tomé, UPS chief executive officer. "Our second-quarter results marked an expected and significant shift in our performance and we delivered both consolidated revenue and adjusted operating profit growth."


The U.S. Domestic segment generated revenue of $14.93 billion, up 6.0% YoY, driven by a 9.3% increase in revenue per piece. Adjusted operating margin for the segment was 8.0%. International segment revenue increased 12.5% to $5.04 billion, driven by an 18.9% increase in revenue per piece, with operating margin of 12.4%. Supply Chain Solutions revenue rose 7.8% to $2.86 billion, primarily due to growth in forwarding and logistics.


Consolidated adjusted operating profit reached $2.1 billion with an adjusted operating margin of 9.2%. The company also raised its full-year adjusted operating profit target to approximately $8.65 billion.
